Developer Update: The Office Battle Is Taking Shape

March 8, 2026

Work on TPS has been centered on one big goal: making the moment-to-moment action feel fun. At its core, TPS is an office-themed, StarCraft-inspired RTS where you command individual units, build up your workplace war machine, and fight for control across chaotic office battlefields. Core commands like selecting units, moving, attack-moving, stopping, and holding position are already part of the game’s foundation.

A lot of recent progress has been about how battles feel when the office starts filling up with units. I have been focused on making large groups move in a way that feels fast, readable, and satisfying, especially in places like cubicle lanes, chokepoints, and multi-floor office spaces connected by stairs and ramps. The goal is not just scale, but making that scale feel good in play.

Combat is also coming into focus. TPS is being built around the kind of quick, punchy clashes that make RTS games exciting to watch and play, with attacks, damage, unit losses, and battlefield effects all feeding into that larger sense of office chaos. The idea is to create battles that are easy to read at a glance, but still feel lively and intense once things escalate.

The world of TPS is still just getting started, but the foundation is there: office departments become armies, everyday workplaces become battlefields, and the first real skirmishes are beginning to come to life. More reveals are on the way.
